Son of Thor and future king of Asgard, assuming he & the rest of Ragnarok's survivors can escape Midgard and there's an Asgard to return to. He has the appearance of a Jotun, despite being an Aesir. During the war, Modi went into a berserker state upon watching his father fall in battle. Modi remained crazed for years, and when he came too, he was covered in the blood of slain Jotun and had taken on the appearance of one. Modi believes his change in appearance is a curse brought upon by his slayings and must face the Jotun whenever he looks at his own reflection. At the behest of his sisters, he sought out Athena so that she could research his new form and possibly reverse the transformation, even if Modi believes he should live with the burden. The once-proud Aesir warrior is now a soft-spoken, humble, polite giant practicing pacifism. His guilt makes him socially awkward as he knows that, after Ragnarok, his appearance as a Jotun frightens most, a prejudice that his people helped cultivate.
