Cain

The first son of Adam & Eve, the first murderer, and the last mortal man. Having been cursed with immortality, Cain wanders Midgard seeking something (or someone) who can finally put his soul to rest. He hoped that the apocalypse would result in his freedom as well, but that wasn't the case, as even the horsemen couldn't undo the mark God etched onto his soul. Many hate Cain for being a mortal unable to pray to (and by extension empower) any of the deities stranded on Midgard. But it was this ostracism and lack of clear purpose that drew Morrigan to him. Like Cain, Morrigan carries a burden that makes her an easy target for hate and slander, based on a mistake made years ago. The two find comfort in one another whenever their paths cross, but take caution not to get too close, for they both know Cain's ultimate goal is a complete cessation of his life, so a concrete future for them isn't an option. This works for Morrigan, however, as her only goal is protecting her little sisters, something Cain is happy to help with as a sort of way of atoning for what he did to his own younger sibling all that time ago.
