29.12.2024 - Silesian Mist

Photos taken on 29th December 2024 roughly from 14:30 to 16:00. Silesia is the most polluted region in Europe apparently. I live close by, around 40km away from that region, so I started connecting dots. That mist lasted from morning to evening. It was actually better in the morning and it started thickening in the afternoon. It went down from ~80m to ~20m, give or take. I don't know if it's actually smog, but a mist like that is rare and abnormal I think. I could breathe the air just fine, my throat is okay. I'll probably die of cancer when I'll be 52 though. Oh well. Colors were edited for a bit of variety. Throughout most of the day it was just pale white. In some instances it was blue or pink by the evening and what I can only assume to be a sunset.
